Abstract
Error-free multimedia computer-based training must be produced quickly to respond to market demand. This presents a challenge to project managers who are under pressure to keep production costs low. Testing is the key to limiting risk and ensuring quality. This article describes how testing multimedia differs from standard application testing and shows how project managers can set up an effective testing plan. It describes ten tests and reviews that must be scheduled and shows a triage system that allows teams to fix all critical problems and a maximum of noncritical problems in a limited amount of time.
