Abstract
New South Wales Health (NSWH) consists of the Department of Health itself, seventeen Area Health Services facilities, public hospitals, and other health organizations that are spread across the state of New South Wales in Australia. NSWH employs around 100,000 people at any one point in time. It is one of the largest agencies of the state government. NSWH has an annual budget of approximately Aus$6.5 billion. Its goals are to improve the health of the citizens of the state and to assure that they have impartial access to quality care and service.
