Abstract
The rapid increase in the number of new World Wide Web pages has not been matched in many of the organizations by the development of these Web pages as effective information-handling mechanisms. The emphasis in many designs of these Web pages has been on such things as the esthetics of the page's appearance, especially on the elaborate presentation of contents and ornate use of graphics.
