Abstract
The Fantastic Follow Through Project at the Fairfield Court Elementary School in Richmond, Virginia, is a partnership serving children from kindergarten through Grade 3 and their families. The goals of the project are to (a) provide powerful learning experiences at home and school for children residing in neighboring public and low-income housing; (b) develop powerful social supports for project participants and their families to combat social ills, such as drug and alcohol abuse and crime; and (c) help children and families participating in the program to become powerful resources for their children, the school, and the broader community.
