Pages 145-157 | Published online: 08 Jun 2010

Abstract

The traditional characteristics and evolution of the behavioral consultation model in terms of research, theory, and practice are discussed. A description of how the model has been utilized in schools, within the context of school psychological service delivery, is also provided. Finally, current conceptualizations of the model are provided to demonstrate how it might be used to meet current challenges in the school-family-community context of consultation services.
