Stability of Results Across Many Studies: Sex Differences on the Personal Orientation Inventory

Pages 627-628 | Published online: 10 Jun 2010

An analysis of sex differences on the Personal Orientation Inventory (POI) was used to illustrate a method to assess the stability of results across many studies. It was argued that sex should not be Used as a moderator as significant differences between males and females were not found consistently across six studies using the POI.
