Field Experiments in Personal Space Invasion for Introductory Psychology

Abstract

This article summarizes the use of field experiments designed to investigate personal space invasion. The experiments were designed and conducted by introductory psychology students and complemented classroom lectures. Student interest and enthusiasm were high throughout the experiments, which provided an understanding of personal space, personal space invasion, and the implications involved.
