A Course in the Psychology of Video and Educational Games

Abstract

The purpose of this course is to study and evaluate video games while increasing students' computer literacy. Students read about and appraised numerous psychological principles used in arcade and educational video games, and they applied their analysis to computer games that they programmed. Video games are a worthy subject of psychological study.
