Hsiu-Yun Wang
Hsiu-Yun Wang received her PhD in history of science from University of Wisconsin–Madison with a minor in women's studies. Her dissertation topic was US medical missionary women in China, 1870s–1920s. Her research areas include the history of modern medicine in China, and gender and medicine in post–World War II Taiwan. She served as the editor of the Taiwanese Journal for Studies of Science, Technology, and Medicine (2014–16). She is associate professor in the School of Medicine at National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan.
