Abstract

A screening test for incorporation of [³⁵S]-labeled sulfate into glycoprotein with the sulfotransferase system from Dictyosterium discoideum was done. [³⁵S]-Labeled sulfate was incorporated effectively into the aspartic proteinase of Mucor miehei. The oligosaccharide chain of the aspartic proteinase was about 2 kDa by Endo F digestion and sulfate was incorporated into the oligosaccharide chain of the enzyme.
