The main focus is on the large social network assembly, although many other innovations are mentioned. In 1980 there were about ten schools of network practice. Today, there are many more particularly in countries with more advanced social welfare programs than the United States of America. Norway, Sweden, Belgium, Canada, Italy and more recently Finland have assumed leading roles in the practice and development of the Network Therapies.
