Abstract
The purpose of this article is to examine alliance formation with parents whose children are in group treatment. Aspects of beginning, middle and ending phases of treatment and related interventions with arents will be explored. The informing interview, translation of group development and dynamics and issues of trust and confidential will be emphasized within the context of parent-professional collaboration.
