The introduction to this special collection provides the framework that underlies all of the articles presented. The complexity and multidimensionality of identity is discussed as well as its relevance to this volume. The group identity of being a woman of Asian ancestry in the U.S. is the common experience that ties all of the articles together. A summary of each of the articles is provided.
