Abstract

The purpose of this investigation was to determine if a group contingent free-time procedure could increase the frequency of low achieving high school students arriving on time and prepared for class. The effects of the intervention were examined using a multiple baseline design across three groups of students. The procedure was well received by the students and little negative peer pressure was noted. Practical aspects and possible concerns are discussed.
