, , &
Pages 1-12 | Published online: 18 Oct 2008

Abstract

The development of a reward survey for high school students is described. Most popular and least popular rewards for different age groups (9th grade through 12th grade) are recorded and differences between these groups noted. Comparisons in scoring the test are also made using populations of parents and teachers. Test-retest reliability of the survey using 149 different subjects is reported. Potential uses for the survey in schools, homes, and clinical practice are addressed and potential benefits to teachers and parents are explained.
