SUMMARY

The Latino population in the United States has grown substantially in the past twenty years. It is expected that by the year 2050, Latinos will comprise twenty-four percent of the total U.S. population. The growth of the Latino population poses many challenges for alcohol-related services. The increasing diversity of the population changes the framework for culturally competent services.
