Abstract
The 1998 National Media Owl Award winners are described. Winning productions included topics on elder abuse and sexuality of older persons in the 14th and final year of The Retirement Research Foundation's Annual Award competition. The Owl Award program has recognized outstanding films, videos and television programs for and about older persons, and encouraged the creation of productions that break down the traditional stereotypes of aging. The Retirement Research Foundation will continue to support the dissemination of the Owl Award winning productions.
