Abstract
The focus of this study was the examination of health behaviors and self-aging attitudes of 140 middle aged corporate employees. Overall, employees were found to practice healhy behaviors and to have positive attitudes toward their own aging. While health practices were generally positive, employees were inconsistent in their behaviors. The majority of employees used seat belts and avoided drinking and driving. They did not, however, regularly practice breast or testicular self-exams and did not appear to effectively manage stress in their lives.
