Establishing Employee Assistance Programs:

Abstract

The Employee Assistance Programs both in the developed and developing countries are rapidly expanding. For the international exp ansion of the EAPs, this paper suggests that the establishment of such programs has to occur within each country's ecological make-up. It discusses the effective functioning of EAPs from a cross-cultural perspective, including specific factors to be taken into account whlle transferring these programs in the international arena.
