Delay in Worker's Compensation Claim Processing:

Lifestyle Effects for Worker and Family

Pages 41-58 | Published online: 26 Oct 2008

Abstract

A majority of American workers could, by on-the-job injury/disease, become dependent upon the social insurance program Worker's Compensation. This research documents the sometimes devastating lifestyle effects for the worker and family of delay in claim processing and offers insight into the system that may help EAP staff seeking to make it more responsive to clients.
