Abstract
Total Quality Management has become an expected management tool in corporate America, in the continued effort to compete in U.S. and world markets. The principles outlied in total quality should also be adopted to the management of Employee Assistance Programs. Total Quality Management defies quality, accountability and evaluation in ways which produce better quality products and services at lower costs. These tools represent state-ofthe art management for EAP's, and techniques that are essential to the survival of these programs.
