Abstract

The authors discuss the issue of how to educate child and youth care workers to work with culturally different children using the example of educating Native students. In order to educate Native students, educators must be prepared to adapt curriculum and child care methodology within the total education program. In addition, the needs of the culturally different child must be addressed within the mainstream programs.
