Abstract
A case study of substance abuse prevention asset (resiliency) assessment of a Puerto Rican community in New England demonstrates the importance of this approach towards the development of collaborative services between natural support systems and formal human service organizations. A series of recommendations will be provided to help substance abuse-related programs based in communities.
