ABSTRACT
HIV disease is a growing epidemic within the U.S. and worldwide. Within recent years, the seroprevalencc rate of HIV disease on college and university campuses has signaled a need to address the counseling needs of students who are HIV positive. For college and university counseling centers, these service needs are varied and complex. This article explores and outlines the issues involved in offering a counseling group within a college/university counseling center setting for H1V+ students. Implications for counseling centers designing a group for HIV+ students are discussed.
