How Much is Enough?

Abstract

Through a reading of a report done onthe Harvard Mental Health Service, this paper considers questions such as: How much in the way of services should a college/university counseling and psychotherapy service be providing? What is an adequate staffing level to do the job? What are some of the obstacles in the way of providing an adequate service? Particular attention is given to the possible effects of managed care in a medical setting.
