SUMMARY
A brief analysis of Virginia Satir'S philosophy of treatment in terms of spirituality. Drawing from transcripts of her training sessions, this article shows how Virginia relates spirituality, uniqueness of the person, and systems with whol-istic approaches to each other and to use in therapy. The article demonstrates Virginia'S justification for her emphasis on the importance of not removing “heart and soul” from her work and the case she makes for the greater effectiveness of creating harmony in and among all the factors that make up the self.
