Abstract
In comparison to the present viewpoint on homosexual orientation and practice, the Bible only makes statements about sexual behavior. It knows nothing about covenants between two persons of the same gender. Bible passages in Genesis, Leviticus, and Romans are examined to support this contention. In one or more of these scriptural passages, the writers were not referring to homosexual behavior at all or were referring to cultural behavior related to rituals. The Bible knows nothing of homosexual behavior that is loving, faithful, and monogamous.
