ABSTRACT
The challenge of achieving international managerial development through integrative, active, learning experiences is addressed. A scripted sequence of events for Executive MBA students in a domestic setting is coupled with a carefully planned itinerary of experiential learning opportunities abroad. Pedagogical and operational issues are discussed in detail sufficient for others to adopt and adapt the “learning web” described. Responses of participants over the three years the program has been used and refined in the People's Republic of China (samples included in the paper) validate the approach as a powerful learning experience.
