A description of the Republic of Kazakhstan, its people, business and business education environment, is followed by a model for training Kazakh oil executives for international management careers. The model contains a detailed curriculum with cultural and pedagogical assessments and recommendations. The former communist countries are faced with the challenge of providing business education to their people. Western universities can help meet this challenge.
