Pages 41-62 | Published online: 18 Oct 2008

Abstract

Given the debate in the scientific community in which some protagonists suggest that there is no such thing as a scientific method, and given a student population with a minimal bgackground in research methods, what do social work educators teach social work students about research methods? The implications of this methods debate for social work education are reviewed and curriculum changes are suggested.
