Abstract
Educating students about the special needs, circumstances and concerns of family caregivers and preparing them to provide meaningful and effective services to family caregivers, is a pivotal challenge for social work education. This paper provides an overview of family caregiving and discusses alternative methods for incorporating critical content on family caregiving into social work curricula.
