Abstract
Student use of E-mail as an adjunct to in-class discussions in a BSW Practice I class is described and illustrated. The results suggest that the addition of E-mail to the classroom experience creates a feminist environment for learning. AMong the positive outcomes were full student participation in discussions, increased understanding and interest in the subject matter, and active involvement with assigned readings. Students explored the relevance of the course material by typing it to personal experience, current events and research.
