ABSTRACT
Montana vegetable production is minuscule compared to that in other states such as Florida and California, and the land dedicated to vegetable crops is only a very small portion of the total cropland in the state. Still, the production of fresh vegetables is important to the local economy and provides small farmers with a seasonal source of income.
