Abstract
A study of all officially registered suicides among persons with a cancer diagnosis from 1973 to 1976 yielded 88 cases. The medical records, forensic medical records, and police reports of these cases were analyzed for demographic and social factors. The timing, location, method. and other circumstances of the suicidal acts are described.
