Pages 23-42 | Published online: 21 Oct 2010

Abstract

Although the incidence of sexual dysfunction among cancer survivors is high, many oncology professionals have little or no training in human sexuality. This article briefly reviews the normal human sexual response, offers a format for evaluating sexual function after cancer treatment, and discusses the clinical issues involved in the treatment of sexual dysfunction after cancer treatment is completed.
