Pages 167-185 | Published online: 25 Oct 2008

Abstract

Comparatively few analyses of the benefits to be derived by men participating in caregiver support groups have been performed. A correlational analysis of 148 men in caregiver support groups provides evidence of considerable satisfaction derived from group association. The structural and functional characteristics of group interventions serving men are also presented.
