Abstract
In this article the author aims to briefly present the life-story of positive connotation. In the first part of the article the author aims to characterize the birth and initial development of positive connotation. Afterwards, taking into account the approach-method-technique model (Burnham, 1992) the author attempts to show how a method that was generated within the cybernetic metaphor can be reconstructed and therefore used under a narrative metaphor. Finally, a case example that illustrates this proposal is presented.
