Abstract
The Phenytoin Database is a bibliographic database on CD-ROM that contains over 15,000 references to the literature dealing with the drug phenytoin from 1937 to the present. The CD, currently mastered by CD Plus Technologies and searchable with CD plus OVID search software, is beiig made available free of charge by the Health Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the ehancement of health through the increased study and use of the drug phenytoin. The drug, most commonly marketed under the trade name Dilantin, is widely used as an anticonvulsant, antiarrhythmic, and antineuralgic.
