Abstract

Undergraduates at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science were introduced to online searching by using a simple, menu-driven gateway system called EasyNet. Student evaluations were favorable; however, librarians concluded that students needed continuous support to insure a successful search outcome. This paper evaluates the usefulness of EasyNet to undergraduates. Student problems are discussed, and some possible solutions to these problems are presented.
