Abstract

Explores the controversy about the value of using subscription agents as found in the library literature in view of the special needs of sci-tech libraries for serials/periodicals and current problems in their acquisitions. Surveys several sci-tech libraries to learn their current practices and priorities in using agents for their serial/periodical acquisitions.
