Implementing the NOTIS Integrated Library System at the Dana Medical Library of the University of Vermont

Abstract

The Dana Medical Library at the University of Vermont recently installed an integrated library system using NOTIS software. The planning, selection and implementation process for the univesity libraries, and particularly the medical library, are described. Issues and concerns regarding automation of a medical library are discussed. Future implmentations for the system at the University of Vermont are projected.
