Summary
The provision of information service in industry presents many challenges and benefits for the corporate chemical librarian. There is a great deal of variation among chemical information services in industrial settings. This paper will discuss industrial chemical information professionals' qualifications, why corporate chemical libraries exist, the library clientele, and the information services commonly found in corporate chemical libraries. This paper will focus on the chemical information service in industrial libraries.
