A Brief History and Description of the StreamNet Project

, MLS
Pages 89-94 | Published online: 25 Sep 2008

Abstract

The StreamNet Project has grown from the combination of two projects into a premier source for data on fish and fisheries in the Columbia Basin. As data is collected, it is added to the tables and trends on the StreamNet Internet site. The StreamNet Project website serves as a portal to this data and other independent data sets.

The StreamNet Library has grown as well, and provides full library services to the researchers and decisionmakers in the Columbia River Basin. One of the initiatives of the library is to digitize as much of the grey literature pertaining to the basin as possible.
