Kids Living with AIDS

Abstract

Experts say the two oldest children born with the disease in Connecticut are now 17 years old. With advances in treating AIDS and its symptoms, childrenlike adults-are living longer and healthier lives than experts had expected. This article is a reprint from a story of children, living with HIV. It personalizes AIDS and gives it faces … the faces of Shawna, Michael, Margaret and Christine.
