Abstract

This paper presents the findings of a study that examines the social and emotional adjustment of adultified Cuban refugee children from the 1994-1995 Guantanamo wave. It also discusses how changes in family roles affect intergenerational relations and family well-being, and how the migration and resettlement experience affects parent/child roles and disrupts the refugee family.
