Abstract
This paper describes a user instruction project in a medical library affiliated with a community-based residency program. Staff at the Health Sciences Library at Bronson Methodist Hospital and the Center for Applied Medical Informatics at the Michigan State University Kala-mazoo Center for Medical Studies provided training in searching the medical literature and online registration of the Loansome Doc system for ordering articles through Branson's health sciences library. This retrospective study suggests that the hands on tutorials and on-line registration for document delivery increased the volume of activity in this library.
