Pages 31-39 | Received 10 Jul 2000, Accepted 05 Oct 2000, Published online: 11 Oct 2008

Abstract

Integrating web-based training into the realm of library services need not be a daunting task for busy librarians. Approach the task as a skilled teacher and develop a plan. Decide whether the class will be open to one segment of the hospital community such as physicians or open to any interested employee. This paper offers suggestions on how to evaluate the physical environment and arrange an area conducive to formal instruction and how to design the class with the busy hospital professional in mind.
