Exemplary CME

Putting the “Library” into CME/Library Specialist

Pages 29-38 | Received 20 Dec 2001, Accepted 29 Jan 2002, Published online: 11 Oct 2008

Abstract

Continuing Medical Education (CME) is viewed by many as unrelated to the library experience though a significant number of medical librarians play a dual role within the medical communities they serve. Librarians' skills can be used to bring unique, significant, broad-based educational benefits to CME. This is an article for the double-hat wearers who relish the challenges of their dual roles.
