Abstract

Planning for change involves addressing three fundamental questions: Where are you now? Where do you want to be? How are you going to get there? Whether one is changing or being changed, it is up to the individual how to react. This is a saga of uncertainty, growth, consolidation, and change. As survivors of government strategy and corporate takeovers, the authors relate some experiences and coping strategies that have been useful and some lessons learned.
