Abstract
Army medical libraries have a long tradition of service to both the Army and the national health community. The Army Medical Department Medical Library and Information Network (AMEDD MEDLI-NET) is a consortium of thirty-nine biomedical, research, technical, and academic libraries in the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM). This article provides an overview of the AMEDD MEDLI-NET and its support of the AMEDD's medical readiness mission. Short overviews of those medical center libraries having regional command responsibilities are included.
